The history of Manulena begins 50 years ago when Manuel Pedro Custódio, a determined and ambitious man, began cycling to the door of churches and the Sanctuary of Fátima to sell the prayer candles he himself produced. Founded in 1968, he quickly made the brand grow and, from religious and lighting candles, Manulena advanced to lines of decoration, environment and more recently, to cosmetics. From father to son, the company has always grown sustainably and with high standards of excellence. This has already allowed the export to the best international brands of demanding luxury markets such as the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany and the United States, in an amount that already corresponds to more than half of its billing. The goal is to continue investing in technology and human resources and, thus, fulfill the mission of growing the company and preserving the name and history achieved throughout these 50 years of activity.
